Beverly Sue (Fishell) Wall, lost her six year battle with breast cancer, at home, with her family, July 11, 2017. She was born October 5, 1958. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Steve Wall of Grand Rapids, her daughters Amy of Grand Rapids, and Diana of Chicago. She is also survived by her mother, Margie Fishell, formerly of Sheridan, a sister Patti (Mike) Peiffer, Carson City, in-laws Dr. Roger and Bonnie Wall, Grand Rapids, David Wall, Grand Rapids, Sue (Gary) McAleenan, Grand Rapids and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Her father, Pat Fishell of Sheridan, a brother Thomas and mother-in-law Georgianna Wall, Grand Rapids, all precede her in death. Beverly left her rural roots to pursue her dream of becoming a successful woman business owner. She graduated from Aquinas College, Davenport University and Grand Valley State University with a MBA in 1987. On her quest, she worked with teams from Cascade Engineering, The Amway Corporation, Fox Motors, Behler-Young, SurClean Inc., Truss Technologies of Rockford, the Grand Rapids Township Board and Wall2Wall Marketing. She was the CEO/President of Languages International. Beverly was the 2003 Athena Award recipient recognizing her community service, business excellence and role model for women in business by the Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce. In addition, she was recognized by multiple organizations including Emerging Leaders USA, Class of 2015, Top Woman Owned Business, Most Influential Women in West Michigan, Women’s Business Enterprise Council, In forum Inner Circle recognition, Distinguished Alumni Seidman College of Business GVSU, Role Model of the Year, Outstanding Achievement Award, Woman of Vision and Toastmasters International Presidential Citation. She was also active in many community and civic organizations: American Heart Association, ARC Kent County, Community Rebuilders, Davenport University Women’s Entrepreneur outreach, Susan G Komen West Michigan and many, many more. Bev’s laugh was contagious, her generosity limitless and her legacy phenomenal. We will all miss her. Visitation with the family will be Friday, July 14, 2017 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Reyers North Valley Chapel. Funeral services will be Saturday, July 15 at 11 am, with another time of visitation one hour prior to the service beginning at 10 am at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Palo Cemetery.
