Betty Ann Beaver

Betty Ann Beaver passed away April 27, 2015 in her home. She was born on April 19, 1928 in North Branch, Michigan to Thomas and Hazel Taylor. In 1947 she married the love of her life Bill Beaver who after 65 years of marriage preceded her in death in 2012. Betty and her husband were active members of the Moose Lodge in Flushing, Michigan and she enjoyed her bowling and card playing clubs. Betty also was a devoted employee of the Herrlich Drug Store for 18 years. She is survived by her three sons William Beaver (Deb), Richard Beaver (Deborah Nycz) and James Beaver (Nancy), her brother Thomas Taylor as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Betty is preceded in death by her brother Donald Taylor, sister Marjorie Bennett, sisters-in-law Sarah and Alta Taylor and brother-in-law William Bennett. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 11:00 am at Reyers North Valley Chapel, 2815 Fuller Ave. N.E., Grand Rapids. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of service. Betty’s family welcomes your participation on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 2:30 pm during a graveside burial service at the Crestwood Memorial Gardens in Flint, MI. In lieu of flowers, please consider a contribution to the American Heart Association or to the American Cancer Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. The family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Sentinel Pointe Retirement Community for the attentive care provided to both Bill and Betty.
