Arlene J. Markle, aged 77 of Grand Rapids, passed away peacefully Sunday, December 19, 2010 at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald E. Markle in 1985, and her brothers, Owen and Donald Vodry. Surviving are her sons, Larry and Marilyn Markle, Dan and Rosemarie Markle; Grandchildren, Mike, Deseree, Stephanie, and Donald Markle; Her twin great grandsons, Justin and Jordan Markle. A sister, Mavis and Ron Tryon, brothers, Ray Vodry, Bob and Phyllis Vodry, Ken and Lucy Vodry, a sister-in-law, Pat Vodry, many nieces and nephews. Funeral and committal services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Reyers North Valley Chapel with Rev. Craig Bickel officiating. Interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
