A natural caregiver, Anna excelled as a medical assistant. She was a compassionate presence and enjoyed tending to her patients.
Her faith was important to Anna, she enjoyed her bible study groups and church services. Even when her health declined and getting to church became difficult, Anna still lived her life the way Jesus wants us to live.
She loved dogs. Over the years, Anna raised American Eskimo and Boxers as well as Lhasa Apsos. Clearly her heart belonged to dogs that required a lot of grooming.
She also enjoyed the peace of a challenging word search, and the strategy of a good card game. As a young woman, Anna was a bowler and was on several leagues.
Most importantly, Anna was a devoted mother, loving grandmother and caring sister. She drew strength and hope from her Christian faith, and will be missed by all who knew her.
Anna is survived by her children: Vandy DeYoung, Chris (Janet) Agee, Dawn Hopson, Jeff (Lynn) Perry and Charles Perry; her grandchildren: Joseph Burgess, Cynthia (Steven) Stutzman, Tabitha (Rick) Totten, Cassy (Justin) Stout, Brianne Perry, Ashley (DeVante) Clark, Michelle Jeffries, Mark Hopson and Jade Perry; her great-grandchildren: Austin Adrianse, Kristen Adrianse, Olivia Schreur, Nicholas Burgess and Amya Joy Clark; her great-great granddaughter Savannah Rose Schreur; her brother Terry (Carol) Gillette and her sisters: Peggy Phillips-Lenard, Shirley Lott, Doris Crouch and Linda (Allan) Giese as well as many other relatives.
