Alice Genevieve Cain

Alice Genevieve Cain, of Cedar Springs, MI born on August 15th, 1968, Alice passed away Saturday, May 14th, 2022 unexpectedly but peacefully in her family home. As the sun at the center of everybody’s universe, the magnitude of Alice’s life was immeasurable. With an unparalleled capacity for love, her warmth radiates eternally through the lives of all who know her. Alice was an active homemaker, and incredible mother and friend.

She was preceded in death by her father, Elliot Tompkins. She is lovingly remembered by her life partner and companion, Douglas Sweers; Her mother, Sara Konetzka; Her brothers, Mike Tompkins and Cliff Tompkins. Her children, Ayla Cain (Daniel Rich), Jesse (Brittany) Sweers, Lincoln Sweers, and Ciera Reinbolt. Her love will live for years to come with her children, her four grandchildren, her many nieces and nephews and all of those to whom she exuded her unapologetic brilliance.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Reyers North Valley Chapel, 2815 Fuller Ave N.E., Grand Rapids Michigan 49505. A memorial visitation will occur Friday, May 20th from 10:00am to 11:00am, followed by a memorial service at 11:00am.
