She was born in: Anthony, KS on November 26, 1935 to Roy and Ifa Frambers.
Zoe graduated high school in Oxford, KS and received her Certified Laboratory Assistant certifications from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists from 1974 through 2002. While attending Cowley Junior College in Arkansas City, KS she met the love of her life, Raphael Ramirez and they were married on February 14, 1955.
Zoe retired from DFW Medical Center, in Grand Prairie as the Phlebotomist Supervisor of the night shift, in 2002.
She was a devout member of Immaculate Conception Church in Grand Prairie and had a passion for her faith and family. Zoe enjoyed baking and cooking as hobbies. In 1996 she attended El Centro College in Dallas, TX and earned her Culinary/Pastry Arts Certificate in Bakery/Pastry. She volunteered at her church and St. Vincent De Paul Food Pantry, in Grand Prairie for many years.
Zoe is preceded in death by her parents Roy and Ifa Frambers and step father, Elmo Chevront, husband Raphael Ramirez, daughter-in-law Veronica Ramirez and granddaughter Dawn McRight.
Zoe is survived by: children Yvonne Rakowski, Renaldo Ramirez, Rolando Ramirez (Darla), Roy Ramirez, and Anita Wilson (Chad), sister Caren Prohaska (Ron), 14 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins and beloved Godchildren.
A rosary for Zoe will be held Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 11:30 AM at Grand Prairie Funeral Home, 733 Dalworth Street, Grand Prairie, TX 75050. A visitation will follow at 12:00 PM. A memorial service will take place at 1:00 PM at the Funeral Home.
