Winona Faye Johnson of Arlington, Tarrant County, Texas passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2014. Born Tuesday, February 8,1921, Olustee, Jackson County, Oklahoma to the late Marion William Brantley Conkle and Annie Alsendy Brown Conkle.Celebration of life: 10:00 Am Saturday, February, 1, 2014, Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home, 2951 S. Belt Line Road, Grand Prairie, Texas. Visitation will be Friday, January, 31, 2014, from 5-7pm at Bean Massey Burge Funeral Home.Interment: Hickory Hill Cemetery, Mount Pleasant, Titus County, Texas. She graduated high school in Mount Pleasant, Texas. Her working career began 1941 at Lone Star Ordainace Plant, Texarkana, Texas. Following WWII she worked many years at Mannie Stevens Insurance Agency in Texarkana, Texas.Winona married the love of her life, David Allen Johnson, Wednesday, August 26, 1953 in Texarkana, Texas.She is preceded in death by her husband David Johnson, parents, brothers and sisters.She is survived by her son Charles Johnson and wife Dorothy, granddaughter Jyl Logan and husband Keith, and numerous nieces and nephews.
