Bill's parents, Velma Alexander Voytko and Stephen Voytko were born in Hungary. When they came to the United States they settled in Murray City, Ohio. His dad was a Blacksmith and his mother was a Housekeeper. There were six children, 5 boys and 1 girl. Bill was born on December 8, 1924. Bill was the last surviving sibling. Bill worked at Robinson Clay Products Company in Malvern Ohio in 1942. Then Bill joined the Navy. He was overseas but when he came back to the U. S. he was stationed at the Naval Air Station in Grand Prairie. Later Bill began working at General Services Administration in the 60's. He was the distribution center manager until he retired in the 80's. Many times Bill received recognition for managing "the best depot in the nation". After retiring, his favorite job was playing with the grandkids and the great-grand kids. He was proceeded in death by his wife, Joe Voytko. He is survived by two daughters and their families - Joni and Mike Offill, Jacob (grandson), Lilly and Jake (great-grand children), and Jan and Don Smith, Andrew and Lesley (grandson and spouse), and Melissa (granddaughter).
He was a member of Indian Hills Baptist Church, Grand Prairie.He will be missed by everyone who ever crossed his path.
