

Victor’s father was in the US Army, so he grew up on several different Army bases in North America. In 1957 his father retired at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa, FL. Not long after, he moved to San Antonio, Texas to live with his mother where he graduated from Edison High School. After high school Victor enlisted in the US Marine Corp where he served 6 months active duty and 5 ½ years in the reserve at NAS Dallas.
Victor was very patriotic and proud to serve his country. During family vacations he made sure to stop and visit historical sites. He was a calm, compassionate man who was curious by nature. He was an aircraft machinist for LTV for 30 years before he retired. He built components for A-7, F-8, C-130, B-1 Bomber and B-2 Bombers. He was a Union Stewart at Local 848, loved to country western dance and tinker with woodwork. Victor was a loving father who was stern and fair with his daughter, Shona. He enjoyed swimming in his pool and being outdoors.
He is preceded in death by his parents Raymond Vincent Dunn and Francis Marchant Dunn; brothers Vincent Paul Dunn and Raymond Bruce Dunn.
He is survived by his daughter Shona Dunn; brother Earl Dunn and his wife Carol; sister Kathy Dunn; 5 nephews and 10 nieces.
