Vickie Cheryel Widener

November 24, 1948 through December 18, 2022

Vickie was born in Denton, TX to James Calvin (JC) Lee and Gladys Pauline Lee. She had one sister Jamie Diane Lee Dunn.

Vickie married Allen Lee Widener April 11, 1964. They had one Daughter, Brenda Lee Widener England November 21, 1964.

Vickie worked for Mrs. Baird’s Thrift Store from 1980 until she retired in 2005.

Vickie is preceded in death by her parents JC and Pauline Lee.

Vickie leaves behind her loving husband Allen Widener, daughter Brenda England and son-in-law Tom England, and Grand Children Erin and Brian Carbajal, Ashley and David Goodenough, and Nicholas Filkins and her loving sister Jamie Dunn and family. Vickie spoke with Jamie every day of her life.

Vickie was excited to be welcoming her first Great Grand Child into the world in June of 2023.

We will all miss her loving optimistic view on life but rest assured in the knowledge that she is no longer hurting and we will see her again.

A visitation for Vickie will be held Tuesday, December 27, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home Beltline Road, 2951 S. Belt Line Road, Grand Prairie, TX 75052. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 10:00 AM, 2951 S. Belt Line Road, Grand Prairie, TX 75052. A burial will occur at Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens, 3001 S. Beltline Rd, Grand Prairie, TX 75052.
