Vicenta Patricia Acevedo

Vicenta graduated from Turner High School in Dallas and attended Everest College and received a Medical Assistant Degree. She also worked for Challenge Manufacturing in automotive production. Vicenta was a member of Iglesia De Dios Arlington where she had a passion for Bible study, prayer and playing the tambourine.

Vicenta is survived by her children; Jose Eduardo Urrutia and Joanna Patricia Escobar; her grandchildren, Aaliyan, Mia, Aariella, Troy and Aalani; and her siblings, Irene, Federico, Jesse, Antonia and Concepcion.

A Visitation for Vicenta will be held Sunday, January 14, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Grand Prairie Funeral Home, 733 Dalworth Street, Grand Prairie, TX 75050, followed by a Celebration of Life at 12:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, family would appreciate donations. A donation box will be placed by the register book in the chapel.

The family encourages attendees to wear bright colors in honor, and in remembrance, of Vicenta.
