Vaney Louise Dewberry Poindexter Kropff, 93, went to be with her Lord on Monday, October 16, 2017.
Louise was born in a house on Arkansas Lane in Arlington on October 29, 1923. She spent her early years in Waxahachie, but soon moved to Grand Prairie where she spent most of her 93 years. She always called Grand Prairie home.
Louise loved her home church, 8th Street Baptist in Grand Prairie. She taught Sunday School there and many different Bible studies. She touched many lives through her teaching and through the wonderful Christian life she lived.
And she loved the Dallas Cowboys.
Louise is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Gary and Gloria Christian of McKinney, her daughter-in-love and husband Larry and Sue Land. Also, her sister – Marion Cato. Granddaughter Brenda Heath of Dallas. Granddaughter Janice Mobley and Grandson, Keith Poindexter – both of Gun Barrel City. Grandson and wife Jeremy and Carol Christian of Bedford and Grandson Steven Christian of McKinney. She is survived by many great and great, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
