Tara was born June 5, 1959 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to the late Alec and Doris Andringa. She resided in Fort Wayne until 1981 when she moved to Texas. Tara was an aerospace machinist for 7 years before becoming a certified aquatics instructor, teaching classes for over 28 years for the city of Arlington, Texas, and through the Arthritis Foundation. She uplifted hundreds of seniors by teaching them how to regain their mobility and fend off arthritis.
Tara enjoyed her family first and foremost, her dear friends, but also loved the outdoors, traveling, and spending time at the lake cottage on Coldwater Lake in Michigan.
Tara is preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Robert D'Andrea.
Surviving Tara, is her husband of almost 37 years, Steve; sons, Jacob (Courtney) and Joseph; three granddaughters, Ember, Remy and Lakelyn; sisters, Anna (Roy) Puff, and Tamera Andringa; and brothers, Louis (Linda) Andringa and Joe Andringa.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, January 13, 2023 at First Baptist Church in Grand Prairie, located at 950 Mayfield Road, Grand Prairie Texas 75052. Visitation with family and friends begins at 10:00 AM.
