San Juana will always be remembered as the most vibrant person you will ever know, always ready to have fun.
Everything was exciting to her. Her laugh and her beautiful smile lit up a room. The love she gave to her husband, all her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren was priceless. She loved to spend time with her family and friends.
Her best talent was behind the sewing machine. When someone would bring something to her that needed to be altered, made from scratch, or stitched she would work her magic. Nothing was complicated to her. She always made it happen. That's what amazed everyone. She loved her trips to Winstar, her vacation trips, doing her arts and crafts, play bingo, mexican loteria, and play left, right, center dice game. And of course you could never forget how much she loved her Dallas Cowboys. Her shouts and screams would make you want to cover your ears.
On behalf of the Cortinas family we would like to thank our family and friends for the love, prayers and support. God bless you.
A Visitation for San Juana will be held Saturday, December 23, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Grand Prairie Funeral Home, 733 Dalworth Street, Grand Prairie, TX 75050, including a Funeral Service at 12:30 PM.
