Roger Alfredo Rubio

Roger Alfredo Rubio, 24, lost his fight to muscular dystrophy on April 18, 2015. He was born on February 1, 1991 in Dallas, the son of Jose and Maria Rubio. He attended Dallas schools and graduated from Bowie High School in 2010. He was currently in the process of enrolling at Art Institute of Forth Worth and majoring in game design. Roger will be especially missed for his “don’t sweat the small stuff” attitude and his positive outlook on life in spite of his condition. He had a funny sense of humor and loved his family more than anything.

Roger is survived by his parents Jose and Maria Rubio, his sister Digna, brother Rodolfo, and nephew Izyah. He also leaves his grandparents, Jose Bruno and Candida Flores. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Funeral Arrangements are being handled by Funeraria Del Angel in Grand Prairie. Viewing will be held at Templo Vida y Luz located at 2538 Ingersoll St. in Dallas. Viewing will begin on Thursday, April 23 at 4pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 25 at 10:00am also at the church.
