Rebecca LaNell Clark

Rebecca LaNell Clark, age 67, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 15, 2020. She was born June 27, 1952, in Lubbock, Texas to L.H. Akins and Lela Jo Ticer. She was a friend, a Nana, a sister, an aunt, a mother, but mostly known as a fighter. She represented strength, wisdom, love, and compassion. She was patriotic and loved her family and friends. Beckaroo had countless opportunities to say “whoa is me” over the years but never waivered and continued to carry on with her beautiful smile. She will be forever remembered by so many.

Becky was preceded in death by her father and stepmother L.H. and Willeen Akins, mother Lela Jo Jackson, brother Mike Akins, and brother-n-law Roger Weldon.

She is survived by her son and wife Ron and Amy Porter of Frankston, Tx, daughter and husband Amanda and Shawn Johnson of Haslet, Tx, sister Susie Weldon, brothers Gary Akins and Jason Jackson; Grandchildren Tori and husband Jeremy Waters, Dustin Fowler, Sutton and husband Joab Vera, Piper Wynns, Zane Porter; 7 great grandsons; Lester Porter a lifelong friend.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge, located at 2522 E. Park Row Drive, Arlington, Texas 76010.
