Randall Lee Richardson was born May 24, 1952, in Macomb, Illinois, where he was adopted by Howard L. and Cleo L. Richardson. He attended Western Illinois University Laboratory School K-12. During his high school years, he loved Industrial Arts taught by Mr. Glenn Houck and became a lifelong lover of woodwork, cabinetry, mechanical, and electronic work. He graduated from East Texas State University, now Texas A & M at Commerce.
Randy enjoyed working with his hands and learning new things. He was a quality control engineer for Ling-Temco-Vought where he worked on several defense projects, including the first Stealth Bomber. His other careers included teaching Industrial Arts, substitute teaching elementary grades, and a security guard.
He loved dogs and had several over his lifetime, including three German Shepherds, which he trained as obedience and guard dogs.
Preceding him in death in were his parents, and his wife Anita Garner Richardson. Randall is survived by his son, James Richardson of Burleson, Texas; his sister, Sandra Maguire of El Dorado, Arkansas; a stepbrother, Richard (Dick) Carlisle of Sun City, AZ; Nan Lovelace, the mother of his son; several nephews and nieces
