Paul just let me know about Peggy's passing.  I am shocked to hear this and you have my sincerest sympathy.  I will always treasure her friendship and to have been aable to work with her doing the miniatures.

I saw Peggy Sue only one time after her graduation at a club in KC where she was singing.  56 years later I can still here her contagious laugh and sultry singing voice.  WHAT A GAL!  Loved by all. As a child I took tap dance lessons from Peggy's Mom and I remember that Peggy played the piano for our class.  She was a beautiful teenager and I loved the dance class.  I wish I had known that you lived in Texas.  We have been here for 32 years.  God bless you,  Patsy Oliver Peck

I will always remember Peggy's vibrant personality.   We played cow girls when we were 4 and 5  on East Chicago ST. in Marceline MO.   I was blessed to have visited she and Ron some years ago with Estella and Gloria.   She was just like I remembered her from years past.    Olive Miller

I'll miss her LATE night phone calls and long conversations. I'm so thankful that Gloria, Olive and I made that trip to Texas several years ago and spent a few days with her and Ron. Reliving memories and having fun!!  That's what we did. Sincere condolences to Ron, Allison, Ryan and her brothers and families.

I know Peggy Sue long before the song was popular and we probably danced to it at Foleys (the going place for us in Marceline). I have the foundest memories of her than I could ever tell! Her brother Jack was in my brothers class, Jimmy Don was a class mate of mine along with Colleen. Peggy Sue was in between. She came by once and we had a great visit at my parents house. I found out she was collecting dolls at that time and so I gave her an original Cupie Doll. I also remember going to the Catholic church with her wearing a hankerchief on our heads at midnight mass on Christmaseve years ago. I will remember her the rest of my life. Peggy had a huge heart, wonderful sense of humor, and she was very loving and caring. I will truly miss her and all of her stories she would tell me. My prayers are with the Spencer Family.

The Wall's met the Spencers when they came to a garage sale!  Austin was about 2 and Ryan a year old.  Peggy, being the friendly people person that she was said, " What beautiful children you have."  I replied, " Thank you they were adopted from Gladney at Birth."  She said mine are adopted also.  Since that chance encounter our family has enjoyed a wonderful, meaningful relationship with the Spencers and our two boys, austin and ryan, remain close today.  We will always remember the love and cherished memories Peggy brought into our lives and will miss her always.

Peggy was a classmate of my husband Kemp Bond and me -- Dana Rieck Bond.  We both have fond memories of Peggy, especially her unique laughter and light spirit.  Our condolences to the family.  Dana and Kemp - formerly of Marceline, now residing in Wintergreen, Nellysford, VA.

Peggy's sense of humor, tinged with irony, will always be remembered. Particularly concerning the "Spurs" boys.  We will miss her. God must have needed another angel.
