Pat graduated from Grand Prairie High School in 1967. During his junior year, Pat saw a beautiful woman come walking into the cafeteria. He quickly pointed her out and declared right there that he was going to marry that girl. He soon learned that her name was Linda McElroy and they were married July, 14, 1967.
Soon after he was married he went to San Diego, California for his basic training in the US Navy. He then served 2 years on an aircraft carrier, the USS Coral Sea CVA-43. Pat received several decorations including: National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with three Bronze Stars, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal with Device and the Navy Unit Commendation Ribbon.
Pat worked as a truck driver for UPS, Ace Hardware and he spent the last 21 ½ years driving for Wal-Mart. He was a lifetime member of VFW 7767 in Breckenridge, Texas and had a passion for going to his Farm/Ranch in Fredericksburg, Texas. Patrick was a cowboy at heart, had a goofy side and above all, loved his family.
Patrick is survived by his wife, Linda Rusche; two sons: Todd Rusche and his wife, Angie Sessions and her daughter Mikaela, Jeremy Rusche and his wife, Tiffanee; grandchildren: Alyssa Rusche, Kiersten Rusche, Cadence Rusche; siblings: Wallace “Wally” Mosley and his wife, Linda, Kenneth Mosley and his wife, Carol, Neva Mosley, Michael Rusche and his wife, Carolyn; step sister Heidi Lewis, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many many friends.
