Norma Lee

Norma went to school in Edinburgh and graduated in 1956, at the age of 16. She then went to work at Bruce Peebles Electronics and several other companies in Edinburgh. In 1959, Norma met Norman Taylor Lee, who was a member of the U.S. Air Force stationed in Edinburgh. They dated and in 1962 were married in Edinburgh. From this marriage, four children were born, Daryl Alexander, Michelle Dianne, Collette Donna, and Jon Louis. Collette predeceased Norma in May 2013. Norma also has four Grandchildren, Joel Alexander and Emily Norma Jean of Perth, Scotland, Chloe Alexander of Greeley, Colorado, and Taylor Morgan of Grand Prairie, TX. Norma is survived by her Husband and three children. Norma worked for years for the Army Air Force Exchange Service all over the World. She also worked for a Nursing Home in Grand Prairie as a Recreation Director. Norma and her Husband ensured that their children were raised in Church in the Protestant Religion. Norma served with her Husband in Scotland, Germany, Pakistan, Greece, and Okinawa. They were also stationed in Salina, Kansas and Big Spring, TX. Norma was an outstanding Mother, Wife and Grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew her. Norma Lee will be having a Memorial Service held at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home, Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at 2pm.
