Michael Dean Young

Michael was the first class to graduate from South Grand Prairie High School. He is a left hander who played junior baseball and was a bit of a trouble maker. He grew up owning dirt bikes and motorcycles. He even had a motorcycle club. After high school he married and got a job working on Yamaha and Honda bikes.

As a young man he was baptized in his mother's Christian church and later in life attended Gateway Church in Grand Prairie. In 1973 after a transplant, Michael was not longer able to work on bikes. The government trained him on computers and he began to build computers. He enjoyed motorcycle trips and camping with is father. He was the kind of man who would give you the shirt of his back. He was a vibrant man who would bend over backwards for you. He had an all around sense of humor who could talk to everyone and make you laugh.

Michael is survived by; son Michael Christopher Young; father Ronald Dean Young; brother Keith Manford Young and brother Kyle Alan Young; granddaughter Kayla Young.

Michael was preceded in death by; mother Marianne Wright Young.

A visitation for Michael will be held Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Grand Prairie Funeral Home, 733 Dalworth Street, Grand Prairie, TX 75050.
