Mary Jo Fowler

Duvall.

She was raised in Grand Prairie. She married Joe Barron and moved to Arlington, Texas and in 1957 they were blessed with a wonderful daughter Kim Denise.

Mary Jo loved to barrel race and continued to do so most of her married life to Joe. She was inducted into the Kow Bell Barrel Racing Hall of Fame in 2015. This was one of the highlights of Mary’s life.

After the death of Joe, Mary met and married Weldon Fowler in 1979. They resided in Venus, Texas until her death. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Kim and two sisters, Sherry Andrews and Vicki Nelson. She is survived her husband, Weldon, step-son, Clisty Fowler and his daughter Allie, one

sister, Norma White. Grandaughters, include Daphni Fowler and Haile Dennis. She was also blessed with 4 great grandchildren. She is also survived by 2 nieces an 3 nephews.

Mary Jo will always be remembered for her sweet smile and contagious laugh.
