Mary Juanita Butcher of Grand Prairie, Texas, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at the age of 90. She was born on November 25, 1933, to Phillip Warren and Julia Evelyn Hollis Price. She married H.E. (Howard Eugene) Butcher on August 7, 1950, in Tyler Texas. They had four children.
She served alongside her husband as missionary in Germany, lovingly tending to her young family in the home. After her children were grown, she completed high school and earned her RN degree to work as a nurse in Day Surgery/Recovery until she retired at the age of 73.
Mary was a very loyal church member at Trinity Baptist in Grand Prairie, Texas. She was a resident of Grand Prairie until she was widowed and her health began to decline, then she moved to her older daughter's house in Meridian.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and sisters, Julia Melton, Virginia Luce, and Tracy Kendell, and a brother, Phillip Warren, Jr. (Korky) Price, and her daughter-in-law, Tammy Butcher.
She leaves behind her four children, Mark Butcher, Martha Kelly (spouse RC), Marian Temple (spouse Danny), and Stephen Butcher (spouse Gina), and grandchildren Christina Fleeman, Rachel Walker, Jackie Butcher, Rebekah Bishop, Robert Kelly III, Verity Warren, Daniel Temple, Gene Temple, Victoria Butcher, and Jessica Butcher, with 26 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren, and many friends.
