Throughout her life, Margaret was dedicated to family, church, and her Lord. She became a Christian at age 14 and she served as a Sunday school teacher for 42 years. Margaret helped start a mission church in north Wilmer, Texas, served as a leader in the Baptist Girl’s Auxiliary and Women’s Mission Union for the Dallas Baptist Association for some time, was instrumental in helping to start a senior adult group, the Sonshiners, at Fairview Baptist Church in Grand Prairie, and sang with the senior adult choir, Serendipity, at First Baptist Church in Grand Prairie for several years. Margaret was a member of the Texas Bluebonnet Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was retired from Sky Chef at American Airlines.
Margaret was always faithful to her Lord. She once said “What I have been able to do with God’s help has been a great blessing to me and to His glory. I want to serve Him as long as I live,” and she certainly did. She will be sorely missed by all who loved her.
Margaret is preceded in death by her brothers: Everett, Elvyn, Virgil, Raymond, Weldon and Joe Priddy; 1st husband Ernest Burrow, 2nd husband Fred Bartlett, one grandson, one granddaughter and three great-grandsons.
