Best way to remember Yolie is knowing she was a firecracker. She was feisty and loved having a good time. She loved karaoke, going out to eat, taking selfies, going to the maquinas, going to see live music bands and dancing. She couldn't wait for football season, to her that was trash talking season. She lived life BIG - big hair, big jewelry and big personality. Yolie wasn't afraid to say what was on her mind. She had no problem telling someone where to go if they pissed her off.
She loved her kids, grandkids and great-grandkids, and we loved her! She loved having family cookouts and taking trips together. She is going to be greatly missed by all her family and friends. Life will be a little boring without her.
Remember she believed in enjoying life, so eat the fried catfish and hot links with extra mustard, take lots of selfies and speak your mind.
A visitation for Yolie will be held Saturday, May 22, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Grand Prairie Funeral Home, 733 Dalworth Street, Grand Prairie, TX 75050, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
