Margarita had a great passion for her family. She was a very giving and loving person to everyone she knew. As a young girl, she worked in the fields to help support her family. She was a workaholic but always made time for her family. She was an excellent cook and loved watching her telenovelas, especially La Rosa de Guadalupe.
Margarita is preceded in death by her son, Juan G. Leal and her daughter, Graciela Perez; her brother Pablo Esparza; and her parents, Ignacio Esparza and Salome (McIntyre) Esparza. She is survived by her daughters, Irma Leal, Julia (Leal) Ramirez, Elena (Perez) Rodriguez, Vicenta (Perez) Camacho, and her son, Benjamin Perez, Jr.; her brother Jose Esparza; twelve grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
Due to the artic weather, services have changed to the following:
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM at Grand Prairie Funeral Home, 733 Dalworth Street, Grand Prairie, Texas 75050. A Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, January 18 at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home, followed by a 12:30 PM Burial at Southland Cemetery in Grand Prairie.
