Linda Jean Tipps, age 76 passed away on Tuesday October 1, 2019 in Grand Prairie, Texas. She was a dedicated wife and mother. Born April 26, 1943 in Shelbyville, TN, she was the daughter of the Ewen and Mattie Howard.
She is survived by her husband Leland Tipps of Grand Prairie, Tx: sons, Mark and his wife Kelley of Grandview, Tx; Bruce and his wife Ann Marie of Grand Prairie, Tx; Grand Children, Hunter, Autumn, Alexis and Bruce Tipps II. She is also survived by sisters: Barbara and Margaret, brothers: Donald and Thomas
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by sisters: Evelyn and Elise, brothers: BJ, Cotton, Curtis and John C.
A visitation for Linda will be held Sunday, October 6, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home Beltline Road, 2951 S. Belt Line Road, Grand Prairie, TX 75052. A funeral service will occur Monday, October 7, 2019 at 10:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Grand Prairie, 950 Mayfield Road, Grand Prairie, TX 75052. A graveside service will occur Monday, October 7, 2019 at Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens, 3001 S. Belt Line Road, Grand Prairie, TX 75052.
Serving as pallbearers are Mark Tipps, Bruce Tipps, Hunter Tipps, Bruce Tipps II, Chris Rigdon and Cole Rigdon.
