Linda Kay Gilbert, 64, passed away April 21, 2012. She was born June 30, 1947 in Dallas, Texas. Linda was a previous member of Meyers Road Baptist Church in Grand Prairie. She was a member of the Rainbow Girls as a teenager. She loved crochet, sunflowers, Texas Rangers baseball, her two grand puppies, Jag – her dog, sitting on the patio in the mornings drinking coffee in her rocking chair, fishing and being with friends and family. Linda was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, James A. Gilbert; Survived by: daughter, Jalin Tenney and husband Nicholas Tenney of Mansfield, TX; mother, Vivian Jenkins of Waxahachie, TX; sisters, Norma and Harlin Robinson of Crandall, TX, Deborah and Tommy Grissom of Waxahachie, TX; numerous children she kept called her their “Nana”; 18 great nieces and nephews; 14 great great nieces and nephews.
