Laura Monica Mendoza

On September 8th, 2021 our beautiful Laura Monica Mendoza was called to begin her Journey home to her Lord and Savior. Laura’s final days were spent surrounded by her loving family. Laura was born to Raymond Mendoza and Carolina Romano in Fort Worth, Texas on October 24th, 1972.

She is proceeded in death by her maternal grandparents Elva and Ramon Rodriguez, paternal grandparents Felipe and Mary Mendoza, her uncle Ramon Jr. (Weddo) Rodriguez, and her uncle Stevie Mendoza along with several loving friends.

Everyone who had the gracious honor of knowing Laura could tell you that she had a strong love for those who she cared for. She will forever be remembered for having an infectious smile and a laugh that could light up the dimmest of rooms. Her passion for music, makeup, and fashion were so great that she could talk about them endlessly. Laura was the kind of person to offer you a shoulder to cry on and manage to make you laugh the pain away with her quirky jokes.

Those left to carry on Laura’s legacy and memory are her husband Jerome Ghostdog, her parents Raymond Mendoza and Carolina Romano, her siblings Raymond Jr. Mendoza and Ana Mendoza, her children Nathan Perez, Jason Perez, Elizabeth Cruz, and Caroline Cruz, her grandchildren Alexander Perez, Charlotte Perez, and Archer Perez along with countless extended family and friends.

Laura was a daughter, a sister, a wife, a mother, a grandmother, and a friend. She is gone but never forgotten.

She will always be our Lovely Laura.
