Janie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, tia, cousin and friend.
To know Janie was to love her. She had a heart of pure gold and an infectious smile. She would always light up a room. Her favorite place to be was anywhere with her family, but especially the beach. She loved collecting seashells and the sound of the waves. Janie loved her dogs, Jackson and Tiggy (Kane and Opie too) and her numerous grand-dogs as well. She was always sending loving messages to her loved ones to remind them how much she cared for them. She loved a beautiful sunrise, sunset and rainbows and now she will help to paint them in the sky. Janie was diagnosed with stage 4 esophageal cancer in March of 2024, after she had suffered a brain aneurysm and stroke in June 2023. She has always been a fighter and this was no different, she fought a long, hard battle.
