Juanita L. Morris passed away September 29, 2013. She was born in Roanoke, TX on September 5, 1928 to Charles and Lucy Lee. Juanita grew up and graduated high school in Roanoke, TX.and went to business school to be a secretary. After acquiring her skills, she moved to Ft. Worth and worked with the IRS. She enjoyed planning vacations with friends, watching the Johnny High’s Country Music Review and working on genealogy. In 1980 she married the love of her life, Charles. They lived happily in Grand Prairie for 19 years. She was very attentive to her family, and always orchestrated the family Christmas down to who was going to make the gravy. Family gatherings were organized in her house, and punctuality was always demanded. She attended Turnpike in Grand Prairie. She was strong-willed, and nicknamed “The Candy Lady” due to the Werther’s she would hand out all over town. Although she had a strong personality, she was the most giving person you knew. If you helped her with a task she. she gave you something in return. Survivor: son Mike Howard, step-sons Wayne Morris, Gary Morris, Doug Morris; grandchildren Michelle Connolly, Wes Traugott, Kurt Traugott, Brian Traugott, Chris Morris, Scott Morris, David Morris, Steve Morris, Sean Morris, Misty Rast and 25 great-grandchildren.
