Joy Lee Gray

In 1963 she met and married the love of her life, Bobby Gray. While Joy had many jobs over the years, she was most proud of supporting her husband as he served 26 years in the Navy and being a loving mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren. She will always be remembered as a caring and affectionate woman whose hugs could fix anything. Joy was a woman whose Christian faith could not be questioned and instilled that faith in her family with the example she set.

She is preceded in death by her husband Bobby Gray, brother Earl Morgan, daughters Bobbie Crandall, Carol Monshizadeh, Kay Hall, nephew Allen Boring, and granddaughter Shannon Dean.

She is survived by her daughter Susan Dean, grandchildren Shawn Crandall, Latasha Wood, Matthew Crandall, Casie Myers, Morgan Crandall, Josh Hall, Ghazual Monshizadeh, Nora Rollins, Jeremiah Hall, Sohail Monshizadeh, and 16 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on February 12, 2021, at 6:00 pm at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home, 2951 S. Beltline Road, Grand Prairie, TX. The funeral service will take place on February 13, 2021, at 11:00 am at Abundant Life Assembly of God, 3829 S. Carrier Parkway, Grand Prairie, TX.
