

21, 2025. Born on August 27, 1958, in the Philippines, Jose lived a life full of warmth,
laughter, and dedication to those he loved.
He pursued his education at the University of the East and built a career as a cook, where
his passion for food and service touched many. After years of hard work, he recently
retired, having dedicated couple of months to enjoying the quieter moments of life.
On April 8, 1981, Jose married the love of his life, Romalinda Tomeldan. Together they shared
44 wonderful years filled with love, resilience, and cherished memories.
Jose was known for his vibrant spirit and love of simple joys. He could often be found
playing bingo or singing his favorite songs at karaoke, bringing joy and laughter to everyone
around him.
Jose will be remembered for his kind heart, his devotion to family and friends, and the joy
he brought into every room. He leaves behind a legacy of love and a reminder to find
happiness in the little things.
He will be deeply missed.
Jose is survived by his wife Romalinda Tomeldan; son Burgess Nikolai Tomeldan and wife
Leilani Ines Tomeldan; grandchildren Nikolei, Lei, Phedlei, Erika, and Kiezn; great
grandchildren Angela, Phedei Jr., and Angelei; siblings Clarito, Angelito, Mayette, and
Stella.
Jose is preceded in death by his parents Honorio Sr. and Esmenia; Brothers Napoleon, Honorio Jr. and
Raul; grandchildren Jose Reymundo, Janine Raine, and Angela
A visitation will be in the chapel on Sunday May 4th, 2025 at 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM at Grand
Prairie Funeral Home, 733 Dalworth Street, Grand Prairie, TX 75050.
