José was born on October 10th, 1950 in Valle Hermoso, Tamaulipas, México to Máximo and Aurora Rodríguez. He worked for Frito Lay Inc. in Irving, Texas from 1975 until he retired in 2012. On November 2, 1971 he married Maria Ester Charles. They raised two children, Joe and Hilda.
José was preceded in death by his father, Máximo Rodríguez, his mother, Aurora Rodríguez, his sisters, Guadalupe González and Angelica Yañez. He is survived by his wife, Mary Rodríguez, his siblings Miguel Rodríguez, Odelia and her husband Raul Treviño, and Aurora Rodríguez, his two children, Hilda Rodríguez and Joe Rodríguez and his wife Rachel, and three grandchildren, Reese, Anthony, and Burkely.
A viewing will be held November 3rd, 2021 at Grand Prairie Funeral Home at 733 Dalworth St. from six o’clock to nine o’clock in the evening. A Rosary will take place from 7:30 to 8:30 that evening. The funeral service will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church on 610 NE 7th St. in Grand Prairie at 10:30 am, with the burial to follow at Southland Cemetery.
