Jerry S. Butler, 77, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2013. Funeral services will take place at 2pm on Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home Chapel with Bishop Allan Butler officiating. Private burial will take place at DFW National Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 6pm to 8pm at the funeral home. Jerry was born on September 24, 1935, in Ogden, Utah, to the late Spencer Brigham and Mable Louise (Payne) Butler. He married Nadine Conta on March 21, 1958. Jerry was preceded in death by a brother and a sister. Those left to cherish his memories include his wife, Nadine Butler; three children: Spencer Butler, Kirk Butler and wife, Donna; and Jennifer Stines and husband Frank; four grandchildren: Kaylie, Steven, Lindsay, and Kevin; a brother, Allan Butler and wife, Patricia; along with a host of loving friends and extended family members.
