Mr. Linton served 14 years in the United States Air Force. Mr. Linton then worked at LTV for 13 years and at Sewell Village for 5 years. He then became a Grand Prairie ISD crossing guard Supervisor.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Jack Ray Linton, and his sister, Bonnie McCoy.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Barber Linton; sons, Ronnie Linton (Melissa), Robbie Linton (Pam), and daughter, Deana Linton. Mr. Linton is also survived by his grandchildren, Chelsie, Jake and Kalob; brother Orren "son" ( Francis), brother Johnny (Judy) sister Gloria Gene ( Roy) brother Jimmy ( Janice) brother in law Richard L Barber ; and numerous nieces and nephews.
