Jeremy Raymond Gebhart was born on November 1, 1969 to Dennis Gebhart and Maria De La Garza in Upland, California. He married his high school sweetheart Victoria when they were just 19 on March 18, 1989. Jeremy and Victoria have been together for 31 years and married for almost 29 years. They were blessed with four children, three girls Marrissa, Adriana, Alexis and one boy Bryan. Jeremy was a traffic light technician. They lived in California most of their lives and lived in Arizona for a few years before moving to Florida then finally residing in Texas. He was a good, kind hearted person who would give the shirt off his back to anyone he met. He made so many friends wherever he went. He called himself Superman because he was unstoppable and strong (and of course buff).
Jeremy was always active in his children and granddaughters lives from coaching soccer to helping with dance recitals and of course football. He was on the board for AYSO soccer, helped and volunteered wherever and whenever he could. Aside from being involved in his children activities he was also involved in their school projects and field trips. He was more than just a dad to his own children but a dad to all their friends his children made through out their lives. Jeremy did so much in all his kids’ lives and supported them in their life journeys.
Jeremy loved his Dallas Cowboys whether they won or lost, he worked at AT&T Stadium for 6 seasons and loved it. He loved riding road bikes with his ROC (Riders of Christ) group, he was into Krav Maga and staying very fit. He also loved his life group from church where he and Victoria made some amazing friends. He became a grandpa at 42 years old and his granddaughter Dakota, aside from his children, was his pride and joy. He was more than just a grandpa to her, he was also like her father. He encouraged and inspired his family to be the best that they can be and put faith in their dreams. He was a prankster, joker and loving man.
He accepted Jesus Christ into his heart the year of 2004. He was a devout Christian, his favorite scripture is Isiah 41:10 “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” The Lord called him home on December 25,2017. Jeremy is survived by his wife Victoria, his children Marrissa, Adriana, Alexis and her husband Matt, his son Bryan, and his granddaughter Dakota Skye. His parents Maria De La Garza, Dennis Gebhart and his wife Sylvia. His sister Maria Hernandez her husband and their four children.
There will be a Celebration of his life on Thursday January 25,2018 at 2 p.m. at The Church on Rush Creek: Mira Lagos where he and his family attended church every Sunday.
