James "Jim" Richard Stratton passed away on February, 21, 2022 at the age of 62, at his home surrounded by his family in Grand Prairie, TX. His battle with cancer over the past three years showed his courage in facing life challenges with a smile. Despite the pain, Jim stayed strong as long as he could. Jim was born November 17, 1959 to James Harvey Stratton and Arlene Fern Ballieu in Arizona.
Jim served proudly for seven years in the United States Air Force. He had a passion for dogs, bowling and golfing. His career was in IT as a Technical Engineer, Teacher and Project Manager with various companies over the years.
Jim Stratton is survived by his wife Lisa Stratton; children Stephanie Arayata, Patrick Stratton and Sabrina Stratton; grandchildren Emma Rose Arayata, Ava Marie Arayata and Madilynn Nicole Arayata. His tireless love and devotion to his family were evident in his final moments.
