Jimmy (James) graduated from Mead High School in Oklahoma in 1943 and went on to serve as Military Police in the United States Army. After his military service, he returned home to date and eventually marry Norma Jean Robertson of Grand Prairie. They celebrated 69 years of marriage last April.
Jimmy was employed by Chance Vought from 1949-1980 and after retirement, went to work for Sa-So from 1980-1990. He was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Grand Prairie since 1948, and was ordained as a deacon in 1968.
He is preceded in death by both of his parents, and additionally by his brothers J.C. Hale, M.D. Hale, and sisters Retha Dokupil, Mildred Hastings and Trula Pennington. He is survived by his wife, Norma Hale; daughter, Karen Eddlemon and husband Johnny; grandsons, Corey Eddlemon and wife Leigh Ann, Kelly Eddlemon and wife Lindsey; great grandchildren, Makinley, Morgan, Lucas, and Jace; sisters, Loretta Cook, Reba Mangum, Bobbie Pennington, and Nadine Calhoun; and many nieces and nephews.
