Grady loved being a police officer and gave back to his community. He was a loving husband, father and papa.
He enjoyed making people laugh and was a Shriner clown. Grady enjoyed working as an engineer on the train at Six Flags Over Texas.
He was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1971, Vietnam era. Grady was part of the Air Defense Artillary Patriot Missile Communication.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Eva Lee Patterson, father, Joe T. Patterson and brother, Martin Lee Patterson.
Grady is survived by his wife of 41 years, Helen Patterson of Joshua; daughters, Heather Patterson of Joshua, Mandy Moses and husband Skyler of Tolar; grandchildren, Rylie Moses, Maylyn Patterson, Kambrie Moses, Jaxson Fraze and Hazlie Moses; many aunts, uncles, cousins and numerous other relatives.
