He was born to George and Ethel Dunn on Jan. 31, 1947, in Shreveport, LA. He graduated high school in 1965. After graduation he joined the United States Air Force where he was stationed throughout the world.
After his retirement from the US Air Force, he made his home in the DFW area, where he worked for the US Postal Service. He retired from the US Postal Service in 2008.
During his retirement George enjoyed playing golf and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. George is survived by wife Gloria Aldana, son George III and wife Brandee, daughter Alyssa and husband Brian, grandchildren George IV and wife Dakota, Aaron, Chelsea, Collin, Kaylee, Hannah and husband Tyler, great grandchildren Ryan, Theo, and Easton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Peggy, brother Danny and great grandson Henry.
