Frances Pauline (Langley) Myers, 88, of Grand Prairie, TX formerly of Topeka, KS in the loving presence of family went to be at peace with our Lord on August 19, 2015 at Town Hall Estates in Arlington, TX. She was born December 7, 1926 in Eskridge, KS the daughter of Late Langley and Pearl (Rowley) Langley. While working as a nurse’s aide at St. Frances Hospital in Topeka she became acquainted to Noel Myers (a patient at the time). On June 3, 1950 they became united into a lifelong marriage making their home in Topeka while raising a family. In addition to being a loving wife, mother, and homemaker Frances worked as a bookbinder for American Bindery for a number of years. After the passing of her husband Noel she continued to reside in Topeka until 2008 when she moved to make her home in Grand Prairie, TX.
She is preceded in death by her husband Noel Myers and son Daniel Langley.
Survivors include daughter Sherry Richardson (Rich) of Topeka, KS, son James Myers (Rose Mary) of Grand Prairie, TX; 5 grandchildren, Zachery Broughten (Jody), Cassandra Taylor, Marie Myers all of Topeka, KS, Lucas Myers of Hendersonville, NC and Tana Barndollar (Jim) of Chico, CA; 4 step grandchildren, Robert Garcia (Dalene Parker) of Arlington, TX, Rene Garcia (Lisa Marzban) of Winnetka, CA, Cindy Resendez of Grand Prairie, TX, Cathy Fanning (James D) of Euless, TX; 4 great grandchildren and 5 step great grandchildren; 2 sisters Velata Tibbs, and Virginia Langley both of Topeka, KS and a brother Gerald Langley of Mesa, AZ; and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services for inurnment will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Mount Hope Cemetery in Topeka, KS.
A Celebration of Life will be 11:00 am, Sunday, September 27, 2015 at Fuzion School of Dance, 118 NW Elm Row in Topeka, KS.
