David Otto Kasten, age 88 passed away on Friday, March 12, 2021. David was born September 29, 1932 in Alabama to Walter and Clara Kasten.
David had two older siblings, Lois Howell and Walter Kasten, Jr. Their parents moved to Texas when David was twelve years old. David was a graduate at the University of Texas School of Civil Engineering and the MBA Program of Florida International University in Miami.
In retirement, he was a volunteer for the American Red Cross and the City of Grand Prairie, Texas.
He married JoAnn Hill in 1956 and together they had a son, Mark, and a daughter, Beth.
David and JoAnn were married for more that 64 years.
David is preceded in death by his parents, his sister and his brother.
He is survived by his wife and their two children.
