Catherine Eleanor Merritt, age 83, of Grand Prairie, Texas passed away on Monday, February 14, 2022 at her home. Catherine was born September 13, 1938 in Rochester, Minnesota to William Sullivan and Catherine O'Neil.
In 1962, she married Richard D. Merritt. Catherine had a career as a Staffing Assistant for the Internal Revenue Service. She had a passion of painting, the arts, scuba diving, and was a Cub Scout Den Mother.
She is survived by her husband, Richard; six sons, Thomas McCabe, Joseph McCabe, William McCabe, Stephen McCabe, Darrell Merritt and James Merritt; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
Services for Catherine will be held on Friday, March 18,
