Carmen Stella Grammer, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother born in Worms, Germany on 3 December 1957 passed after a long illness in Arlington, TX on 14 February 2015. She was loved by all who knew her for her indomitable spirit, beautiful smile and generous nature. She was employed as a switchboard operator in Germany and as a quality control inspector for ELCOM in El Paso, TX where she retired medically in 2004. Carmen is survived by her husband, Peter Grammer, Grand Prairie, TX; daughters Kimberly Grammer, Grand Prairie, TX and Ilka Ott, Worms, Germany; stepson Alexander Grammer, Carrollton, TX; mother, Karin Carter, Killeen, TX; sister Manuela Smith, Killen, TX; and five grandchildren. Public viewing will be held Thursday, 26 February 2015. at Bean, Massey, Burge Funeral Home, 2951 S. Belt Line RD, Grand Prairie, TX from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday on 27 February at the same location.
