I was a traveler from IL to Texas.
My name is Mark Maser. As a Maser I had never met others, and had stumbled upon their names in the phone book.

My wife, encouraged me to stop by their house and say , Hi...

As I walked up to their home... Bonnie happened to be at the door.she opened it and gasped.. your a Maser aren't you.

It set me back a bit; I was not expecting that comment.

She immediately invited me in to see kids pictures on the fireplace mantle.

They all looked like me LOL

She made me feel like I had family.

I was glad I stopped and said Hi !

They will be missed.


My family and I have also been blessed since the late 60s knowing, loving and being loved by this beautiful soul, Bonnie Maser!  

It was because of her mission to save souls and bring them to Christ, our family was introduced to The Church. I remember Freetown Road Church of Christ coming to our home when I was a small child. We all watched King of Kings and other films teaching us about Christ, sin, repentance, being baptized, eternity, heaven and hell. We started going to church regularly and we were all saved! All baptized at Freetown Road. 

I give God the glory but had Bonnie not met mom at the navy base when we first moved to GP, I wonder where we’d be today, spiritually. Our families bonded throughout those years. I could talk to her literally for hours about anything and everything! Beautiful, loving  memories I cherish!  
Bonnie was one of a kind, warm, funny, loving, Godly, sweet, giving and caring! We will miss her deeply and look forward to joining her in heaven one glad day!

My family has known the Masers 55 plus years.  What a warm and hospitable family they have always been.  Mark and Bonnie were a joy to be around and were some of the sweetest people I’ve had in my life.

Bonnie and her sister Sue met my mom at Grand Prairie’s Navy Base.  I know God sent Bonnie to our family.  She was a great friend to my mom.  She helped teach us about Christ and God’s will.  Our entire family became Christians.  I often wonder where we would be spiritually if it were not for Bonnie’s selfless desire to teach others about God. 

Bonnie was a loving, kind, and giving person.  She took the time to be an encouragement to others and help those in need.  I imagine she was a positive influence on anyone who knew her.

Bonnie spent her entire life happily and lovingly working on the goal she has now attained.  I look forward to seeing my friend again one day.  Until that time, I have many memories that keep me smiling.

Gary and I are sorry for your loss, and we will keep the family and her friends in our prayers.  May God comfort you.

I remember Marc and Bonnie way back in the day when we first attended Forum Terrace Church of Christ. They were so very kind and welcoming. They held so many gatherings at their home, and I have fond memories of them both. 
When Marc passed, Bonnie remained strong and compassionate towards others. She was a beautiful light! She will always be remembered as someone who put others before herself in anything and everything she did. She will be greatly missed.

Bonnie will always be in our hearts forever.From the moment our family walked into the church building (about 36 yrs.ago) Bonnie was always there for us. She was the perfect example of a caring Christian person and we know that she is now in the eternal care of our loving Lord…Elvira Gomez and family 

I met Bonnie when I was still in elementary school. She was and always has been a lovely, gracious woman who was quick to laugh and was as hospitable as she was kind. She taught my Bible class when I was a child and remained a wonderful example of a steadfast hope in the Lord throughout her life. Through the trials of illness and the loss of loved ones, Bonnie's faith remained. May God rest the soul of this wonderful woman. 

Know that your mother, Mrs. Bonnie, sat with my mother at lunch most days. Her friendship towards my mother, Billie Brannon, and their fellowship meant a lot to her. I enjoyed visiting with your mom every chance I had. She was a very dear lady and will be missed by all.


Sister Maser, even though we no longer have you here physically on this earth, I want you to know that your influence and legacy will always live on in my life and all those whom you touched.  You were one of my first Sunday school teachers, and I learned so much by your teaching and the example you gave me of Christian love.  You always would tell my mom and dad what beautiful children they had, and I'll never forget how much you encouraged me when I would lead singing at church or preach a sermon.  You and your husband Mark were the definition of agape love.  The legacy of Forum Terrace owes so much to the work you and your husband did.  Although I will miss you tremendously, I know you are with your loved ones who have passed before.  Say "hi" to my grandparents up in heaven, and please save a seat for us at the table, when we will all be reunited one day in the presence of our beloved Creator.   You will ALWAYS be in our hearts.

Mrs. Bonnie was my Bible class teacher as a child and was a great influence on my faith my entire life. She was a kindred spirit and friend to my grandmother, who didn’t speak English, but just like her, they lived their faith. Mrs. Bonnie always had a smile, a laugh, and a story that made you reflect on your own life and faith. I am grateful God gave us an example like her. Someone who did not just read Scripture, but allowed the Word to come alive in their life. 

While I am saddened by her passing, I know she is in heaven rejoicing. “Well done, thy good and faithful servant.”
