Ms. Bobbie you were an angel and very friendly loving women.  You use to see my son walk home from the bus and you would offer him a dr.pepper. I appreciate  that. You were our neighbor garage person putting everything together. So genuine and loving may  you be at peace. I did not know of your passing I would have hone to see you one last time.  I always remember you walking by with your loving dog and with a smile coming by to check on Mr. Smith such a kind neighbor. You are missed and enjoy paradise. 💛💜

I was a young mother when I started attending Lakeview Baptist Church. I was very shy and unsure of what to do at church with my children. Bobbie always welcomed me and guided me to be with the law guess s group.
After a couple years I became a Mary Kay consultant but never told anyone. One day, Bobbie walked me out to my 1976 two tone blue van and saw my Mary Kay decal and said oh I'm so excited one of our members is a Mary Kay consultant, let's put your name on the bulletin board. I didn't want to because I didn't want people to think I was taking advantage of my church association. But Bobbie helped ease me along and introduced me more and I got braver and more comfortable even just being at church. I remember Bobbie introducing me to many ladies in the choir and the pastor told me one day the ladies faces look like blooming flowers and a beautiful bouquet behind him every Sunday somebody was blooming and smiling and glowing. 
I knew Bobbie and her husband Billy for 40 years. When I would go to their home and deliver her Mary Kay products we would sit for an hour or two and just visit and sometimes I did get a chocolate chip cookie. I enjoyed visiting with her and Billy so very much. 
After Billy passed we would still have our visits but not as often. I moved to Cedar Hill and then Waxahachie and most of our conversations were on the phone and I would mail her MK to her. I treasure those phone calls. She would always end them with Jesus loves you.... And she would always write Jesus loves you in the note area on her checks to me.

She had ordered Mary Kay up until the month before she passed. I had not heard from her in all this time, but in the last two to three years she had only ordered about once a year so I was thinking it was really getting past the time and just now decided to look up her name just in case something had happened. 
She passed on my birthday date and it makes it all the more dear... that she rose in Glory and is resting in peace. I will forever miss her and her strong faith and will cherish our lifelong friendship. I wish God's comfort upon her family.

When my husband and I became members of Lakeview Baptist Church in 2010, we were immediately welcomed by Ms. Bobbie. She always was glad to see us and was one of the reasons that make Lakeview a welcoming and friendly church. We will miss her very much.

What a blessing to have known Bobbie Stevens! We always looked forward to seeing her on our trips back home to Lakeview. She never changed, she just became dearer to all that knew her. Her visits to my parents before they passed away meant a lot to our family. This world would be a better place if we had more people like Bobbie, but there was only one- dear lady- Bobbie Stevens. We will miss her.

Mrs.Bobbie Stephens was a beautiful person inside and out.She was the sweetest and most caring woman with great faith in God.  I'm forever grateful and blessed to have known her. She will truly be missed.

Bobbie Jane, the closest to perfect human God could have ever created.  She loved everyone, bar none and had the biggest heart ever.   
We family members are going to have to go some to fill her shoes, but with the legacy of caring she left behind we can all try. And as we try, we will all here, ' Bless their little hearts".   Patsy and John D. Bowman
