Bobbie was the oldest child and left school to take care of her brothers and sisters. She married J.M. Butler in McLennan County on December 23, 1947. She played piano, guitar, enjoyed old western movies, western swing music, loved Lucille Ball and old TV shows. Bobbie was strong willed, still doing her own yard work. She was compassionate and loved her family, especially during holidays and was known for her cornbread dressing recipe, which she passed down to her daughter. Her neighbors loved her and children all called her grandma. She is finally reunited with her husband, J.M. and their son, Mike.
Bobbie is preceded in death by both of her parents, husband J.M., son, Mike Butler, sister, Lydia Witt, brother, Ollie Helm, brothers in law, Jack Holbrook and Charles Cox, sisters in law, Marie Butler, Ima Cox and Carol Butler.
She is survived by daughter, Sandra Lewis and husband, Barney, Grand children, Brian and his children, Mandy, Aaron, Heather and Alexis; Kevin and wife, Christi and children, Marquelle, Kevin, Jr. and Taylor, Courtney and Fiancé, Todd Kume and her children, Maia and Dante; sisters in law, Claudia Holbrook and Margaret Roberts of Shertz; nieces, Carol, Jeannie, Connie, Karin, Pam, Vickie, Susan, Sharon, Teresa and nephews; Wayne, Tracy, Chuck, Jimmy and Mike.
