Bernard S. Klopfer, age 59 of Cedar Hill, passed away unexpectedly on November 20, 2022. He was born on February 27, 1963 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Leopold Klopfer (born in Augsburg, Germany) and Fujie Matsuo Klopfer (born in Obama, Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan). Bernard married Barbara S. Breeding on November 3, 2005 and they celebrated 17 years of marriage together before his passing.
Bernard is survived by his wife, Barbara Breeding Klopfer; children Matthew Elijah Breeding Klopfer; step-son-in-love Donald J. Breeding; grandchildren-in-love Ashleigh Autumn Breeding, Jaiden Elisha Breeding, Trinity Victoria Breeding, Emma Grace Breeding, and Caleb Alexander Breeding; siblings JoAnne Carr, Dale Klopfer, and Milton Klopfer.
Bernard completed several graduate degrees from Cornell University. He used his knowledge and compassion to help make a difference in business that would positively affect the world. He served in many leadership roles at iCMO, Steadfast Partners, Jabil, and CA Technologies. Bernard’s dedication to the success of the team of these companies and associates gave him great pride.
Bernard was proud to receive Christ as his Lord and Savior and was an active member Leading Way Ministries, where he also served as a Director. In his spare time, Bernard enjoyed animals, music, learning, helping others, traveling, collecting items, coins, and spending time with family and friends. Bernard especially cherished the time he spent with his wife and always finding that special surprise for her. Bernard will forever leave a lasting impression on his family, friends, and fellow colleagues – all of whom will remember his humbleness, devotion, and compassion.
Visitation will be Monday, November 28, 2022 from 4:00-8:00PM at Bean-Massey-Burge Funeral Home, Grand Prairie. A celebration of Bernard’s life will be Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 1:00PM also at the funeral home, with visitation from 11:00AM until the time of service. A committal service will be Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 3:00PM at Little Bethel Memorial Park, Duncanville.
Serving as pallbearers are Matthew Elijah Breeding Klopfer, Jaiden Elisha Breeding, Donald Joe Breeding, Gregory Tovar, Craig Mullins and Milton Klopfer.
