Albert was a Truckdriver most of his life. Though he only had an eighth grade education, Al was very intelligent and entered the service at 18 but tested at a College level. He met his wife Vontreba in 1969 when he walked into Soul's Harbor Church in Oak Cliff, Dallas and gave his life to Jesus. He also was a Tool Expert - very talented at repairing tools; especially hydraulics. He would always say, "if I can't fix it, it can't be fixed." He enjoyed building things, working crossword puzzles and reading, which included every Louis L'Amour book written. Al spent his later years with Vontreba living on a few acres in Emory, Texas, near Lake Fork where he fixed tools for a living. He had a wicked sense of humor, loved to be the center of attention, but his love for Vontreba, as well as Christ, never faltered. He will be missed by his wife, children, extended family, neighbors and friends. May he rest in Peace.
